- Open the app and press Start. Nala takes her chair, the countdown runs, and when it finishes you both get paid in coins. Put the phone down — that is the whole idea.
- What happens if I lock the phone or close the app?
- Nothing. The timer runs on a real end time that is saved on the device, so a locked phone, a closed app or a flat battery does not stop it. When you come back the countdown is where it should be, and you get a notification when the session ends.
- How do I stop a session early?
- You have to disturb her: hold the card for three seconds. Stop within the first 30 seconds and she lets it go quietly. After that she leaves unimpressed, and nobody gets paid for that session.
- How do I earn coins?
- By finishing sessions. Coins cannot be bought at any price — spend them in Customize on chairs, rugs, lamps, rooms and a second cat.
- What does Premium include?
- Every session length, every skin, the ambient sounds, and your streak, history and records. You can pay once for lifetime, or subscribe annually with a 14-day free trial, or quarterly if you would rather not commit to a year. The timer itself is never behind the paywall.
- How do I cancel the subscription?
- In your Apple Account settings on the phone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Nala → Cancel. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription, and we cannot cancel it for you.
- I paid and Premium is not showing.
- Tap Restore Purchases on the paywall or in Settings, with the same Apple Account you bought it on. If it still does not appear, email us with the date of purchase and we will help.
- How do I get a refund?
- Apple handles every purchase and every refund. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account. We are unable to issue refunds ourselves.
- Is my data backed up? Does it sync to my iPad?
- Your sessions, coins and settings live on your phone. If iCloud Backup is on, they are included in your device backup and come back when you restore a phone. There is no sync between devices, and we hold no copy — so deleting the app deletes the lot.
- Can I change her name?
- Settings → the cat’s name. Nala is only the default, and the pronoun changes with it. Every line of copy in the app follows what you choose.
- I have an idea for the app.
- Settings → Suggest something. It is genuinely read — the suggestion box is how the roadmap gets written. Found a bug goes to the same place and quietly attaches the app version and your device model. Or email support@thalorlabs.com.
